Privacy Policy

The Meridian Sanctuary is a digital offering of Meridian Wellness, which is operated by Live Well Acupuncture, Inc. The Glowing Lotus LLC provides development and administrative services for The Meridian Sanctuary and may handle information as necessary to administer certain Sanctuary digital services and transactions on behalf of the Sanctuary. In this Privacy Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Live Well Acupuncture, Inc. as operator of the Sanctuary; where information is handled by The Glowing Lotus LLC in the administrative capacity described above, this Privacy Policy applies to that handling as well. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect through the Sanctuary at sanctuary.meridianwellnessoc.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Section 1Information We Collect

Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, and a password you choose.
• Billing information: payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Personal Guidance submissions: information you voluntarily provide when requesting Personal Guidance. This may include questions, prompts, reflections, and other information you choose to share about your experiences, relationships, wellbeing, emotions, family circumstances, spirituality, life transitions, or other personal matters.
• Communications: messages you send us through email or the Sanctuary.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data: pages visited, pieces started or completed, saves, and progress state within your account.
• Device and log data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, approximate location derived from IP, and access times.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. If we later introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and, where required, seek your consent.

Section 2How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Sanctuary.
• Process payments and manage your account and subscription.
• Review and fulfill your Personal Guidance requests — prepare the personalized written, audio, or video response and deliver it securely through your My Sanctuary area.
• Provide customer support for your account, purchases, and Personal Guidance requests.
• Send transactional emails (for example, magic links, receipts, and membership updates).
• Send occasional editorial communications from the Sanctuary, which you may opt out of at any time.
• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Section 3Personal Guidance — Handling of Your Submissions

Personal Guidance is a personalized service. To prepare your response, Jenna and/or Farbod review the information you submit. This information is used to:

• review and fulfill your Personal Guidance request;
• prepare the personalized written, audio, or video response;
• deliver that response securely through your My Sanctuary area; and
• provide associated customer support.

Your submissions are stored securely, and internal access is limited to those who need it to fulfill your request or to operate and maintain the Sanctuary. Personal Guidance responses themselves may include privately stored written, audio, or video content, delivered to you through your My Sanctuary area using time-limited, signed access links designed to prevent public exposure.

The Sanctuary is not a medical, mental health, or clinical service, and Personal Guidance submissions and responses are not medical records, psychotherapy records, or clinical documentation. Please see our Terms for related disclosures.

Section 4How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. As explained in the introduction, the Sanctuary is operated by Live Well Acupuncture, Inc., and The Glowing Lotus LLC provides development and administrative services for the Sanctuary. Live Well Acupuncture, Inc. may handle your information as necessary to operate and provide the Sanctuary, and The Glowing Lotus LLC may handle your information as necessary to perform the development and administrative functions described above, including administration of Sanctuary accounts, purchases, Personal Guidance, member services, and related digital transactions. Beyond that internal handling, we share information only with:

• Service providers who perform functions on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, including Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Cloudflare (media storage and content delivery), and our database and hosting providers.
• Legal and safety purposes — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Live Well Acupuncture, Inc., The Glowing Lotus LLC, the Sanctuary, its members, or the public.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.

Section 5Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Sanctuary. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain it (for example, tax and payment records, or to resolve disputes and enforce agreements).

Section 6Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including bcrypt password hashing, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), signed authentication tokens, and time-limited signed URLs for private media. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted through the internet.

Section 7Your Choices and Rights

You may:

• Request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request a copy of your information in a common format.
• Withdraw any consent you previously provided and opt out of editorial email communications through the unsubscribe link included in those messages.

Where applicable privacy law provides you with additional rights, we will honor those rights as required by law. To exercise any of the rights described above, please contact us using the details in Section 10. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Section 8International Users

The Sanctuary is operated in the United States. If you access the Sanctuary from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Sanctuary, you consent to this transfer.

Section 9Children’s Privacy

The Sanctuary is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it.
